UNICEF Morocco announces an internship opportunity in Rabat within the Child Protection Section, Migration Programme, for a duration of 3 months.
This opportunity aims to support UNICEF’s efforts to promote the rights and protection of children in migration situations, support national partners in improving migrant children’s access to basic services and reliable information, and ensure their participation in decisions that affect them.
The intern will work under the supervision of the Child Protection and Migration Programme Officer and will contribute to documenting activities, updating resources and tools related to the protection of migrant children, supporting the organization of events and meetings, and preparing presentations and documents in French and English.
The internship also provides practical experience in project management and working within an international United Nations organization.

Responsibilities
- Participate in meetings related to the design, planning, and follow-up of initiatives and activities.
- Support the organization of upcoming events within the Child Protection and Migration project.
- Contribute to activities related to international days and important occasions.
- Support the preparation of presentations and documents in French and English.
- Help document implemented activities and achieved results.
- Support the collection and organization of tools and resources developed around the protection of children in migration situations.
- Contribute to updating an online resources or training platform.
- Provide support, when needed, for other activities implemented by the Child Protection and Migration Programme in collaboration with partners.
Eligibility criteria
- The applicant must be currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program.
- Or be a recent university graduate.
- The applicant’s field of study must be in one of the following areas:
- Education.
- Sociology.
- Political Science.
- International Relations.
- Demography.
- Social Sciences.
- Any related field.
- Proficiency in written and spoken French is required.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English is required.
- Knowledge of Arabic is an additional advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.
- Knowledge or skills in design and website development are an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills are required.
- The ability to adapt and maintain good professional relationships is required.
- Previous experience in project management, whether through an internship or student projects, is a strong advantage.
