Opportunity description

The Prisma Art Prize invites visual artists and fine artists from around the world to submit their work, with the aim of supporting emerging talent and providing artists with the opportunity to present their work to curators, art collectors, and international cultural institutions.

The competition accepts paintings, fine art photography, drawings, engravings, and other traditional two-dimensional artworks in a wide range of sizes, materials, and artistic styles. Finalists receive opportunities to be featured in the online exhibition and compete for cash prizes, artist residencies, and solo and group exhibitions.

  • Annual cash prizes totalling €2,000.
  • Cash awards distributed among four winners across the quarterly editions.

Eligibility criteria

  • Be a living artist.
  • Applicants of all nationalities are eligible, including artists from Arab countries.
  • There are no restrictions based on age, gender, nationality, or ethnic background.
  • Submit works in painting, drawing, engraving, or other traditional two-dimensional art forms.
  • Use any artistic technique or material.
  • Submit artworks of any size.
  • Submit either new or previously created works, in accordance with the official rules of the relevant edition.

Entry Fees

  • €34 to submit between one and three artworks.
  • €5 for each additional artwork.
  • Applicants may submit a maximum of eight artworks.
