SLINGSHOT 2021 - Deeptech startup pitching competition is now available for entrepreneurs all over the world. In the fifth edition, Slingshot competition is looking for startups in four emerging challenge sectors to showcase your game-changing solutions and products. Make the pitch of a lifetime to a global audience of major investors, industry leaders, and thought leaders. This is your chance to anchor yourself in Singapore – one of the world’s top innovation nodes – and compete for over (US$800,000) in attractive prizes.

• The Grand Winner of SLINGSHOT 2021 will receive S$200,000 (US$148,631)Startup SG Grant Prize.
• The Top 10 Startups will each receive S$50,000 (US$37,157) Startup SG Grant Prize each.
• The Top 100 Global Startups will receive:
• An exclusive invitation to compete at SLINGSHOT 2021's Virtual Finals, held as part of Singapore Week of Innovation and TeCHnology (SWITCH).
• 1 x complimentary Digital Premium Pass to SWITCH 2021.
• 1 complimentary SWITCH 2021 exhibition booth to showcase your innovative products and services.
• Support for EntrePass, the working visa for foreign entrepreneurs in Singapore (International applicants only).
• Participation in SLINGSHOT 100: Gear Up, a three-day curated workshop with one-to-one mentoring, valuable networking opportunities, and connections to Southeast Asia’s vibrant tech ecosystem.
• The Top 1000 Global Startups will receive:
• The chance to participate in the SLINGSHOT Corporate Challenge, connect with innovation-ready corporations, and embark on co-innovation projects to win up to S$30,000 (US$22,294) in Startup SG grant prizes.
• Participation in SLINGSHOT 1,000: Disrupt, a three-day series of masterclasses and workshops. Gain insights into sector-specific trends and challenges, pitch your innovative ideas to corporates looking for solutions, and explore co-innovation opportunities.
• All cash prizes are subjected to prevailing government taxes, while any cost of telegraphic transfer is to be borne by the awardee.

• This Challenge is open and offered solely to business entities, regardless of their business area. 
• Startups may be required, in the Sponsor’s sole discretion, to provide proof of company registration by submitting a registration certificate issued within the last three (3) months, or ongoing company registration/business profile, or any trade registry and proof ensuring the registration of the entity in the relevant country.
• This Challenge is not open to employees and representatives of the Sponsor and Agorize and the immediate members of their families.
• This Challenge is void in countries where it is prohibited or restricted by law.
• SLINGSHOT is not just looking for brilliant ideas, but most importantly, practical and scalable solutions.
• Any international startups with a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) and meet the following conditions are eligible to participate:
• Can illustrate initial signs of traction.
• Have proprietary technology or solutions.
• Regardless of your business area, all startups are welcome to apply in any categories stated in the SLINGSHOT 2021 Competition:
