Tareqi Program 2026 for UX/UI Design and AI Training in Jordan

The King Abdullah II Fund for Development has launched a new cycle of the “Tareqi” project for 2026, in partnership with The King’s Trust International and implemented by the Business Development Center (BDC).

The current track focuses on UX/UI Design Powered by AI and aims to equip Jordanian youth with the life, technical, and professional skills needed to work in the digital sector. It also provides practical training within host companies and enhances participants’ employment opportunities.

• Training in life and employability skills required in the labor market.
• Specialized technical training in user interface and user experience design.
• Learning how to use artificial intelligence tools and technologies in design processes.
• Practical training within one of the host companies.
• Developing communication and teamwork skills.
• Improving readiness for interviews and the labor market.
• Possibility of accessing job opportunities after completing the program.
• Participation in the program from different governorates across the Kingdom.

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

1. The applicant must be a Jordanian citizen.
2. The applicant must be between 21 and 27 years old.
3. The applicant must be a graduate and not currently enrolled in studies.
4. The applicant must be a graduate of one of the following fields:
   1. Graphic design.
   2. Design and visual communication.
   3. Computer science.
   4. Software engineering.
5. The applicant must commit to attending the life skills training, technical training, and practical training.
6. The applicant must pass the selection process and personal interview.

Participants’ Responsibilities

1. Commit to attending all training sessions.
2. Participate in practical activities and applied projects.
3. Complete the technical training in UX/UI and artificial intelligence.
4. Commit to the practical training within the host company.
5. Maintain seriousness and discipline throughout all stages of the program.
6. Pass the assessments or interviews determined by the project team.
