Finalists receive one of four awards. Not all categories are guaranteed to have winners.

• GOLD, SILVER, BRONZE PENCIL: Pencils can be awarded across all disciplines. All Pencil winners will be published in the online archives.
• Merits: can be awarded across all disciplines. All Merit winners will be published in the online archives.
• Best of Discipline: Each jury votes to select the best work within a discipline.
• Best of Show: All juries vote to select the best work across all disciplines.
• CMO Pencil: is a special accolade given to one marketer who has proven savvy and confident enough to champion a creative concept through from ideation to reality to success. The winning entry is selected from the highest-scoring submissions in The One Show disciplines and is judged by a collection of highly respected CMOs, brand managers and other marketers, all of whom understand their integral role in creating compelling and effective advertising.

All work must be published or aired between the dates listed below. "Published" means the advertisement or work appeared in a form of mass media exposed to a substantial audience.

• Entry Eligibility Dates: January 1, 2021 – March 4, 2022
• Creative Effectiveness – Eligibility Dates: January 1, 2020 – March 4, 2022
• Sustainable Development Pencil – Eligibility Dates: January 1, 2018 – March 4, 2022
• Penta Pencil – Eligibility Dates: January 1, 2012 – March 4, 2022
• NOTE: At least one of the penta campaigns included must have launched between January 1, 2021 – March 4, 2022.

Rules & Regulations

• Entries must be submitted by industry professionals only, including freelancers.
• Work produced on behalf of The One Club for Creativity and its programming, including The One Show, ADC Awards, Type Directors Club, Young Ones Student Awards, etc. is not eligible.
• The One Club reserves the right to disqualify entries submitted without proper documentation verifying the creation of the work.
• ALL ENTRY FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE AND NON-TRANSFERABLE.
• By submitting entries into the competition, entrants are committing to pay for all entry fees in full.
• International Entries
• The One Show accepts and celebrates entries from around the world. All work should be submitted in its original language. English translations are required for all work in another language.
• Image and Audio Media:
• For entries in a language other than English, provide an English translation in the "Judging Description / Translation" field with the individual media.
• Video Media: For video entries in a language other than English, provide English subtitles in the video or a translation in the "Judging Description / Translation" field with the individual media.
• URL Media: For URL entries in a language other than English, use the "Judging Description / Translation" field with the individual media to provide any necessary instructions in English.
• PDF Media: All PDF entries must be submitted in English.
