Opportunity description
As part of international academic and cultural exchange programs in China, the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) is accepting applications for the International Winter Camp 2027, offering international students and graduates the opportunity to participate in an educational and cultural experience at one of China’s universities specializing in science and technology.
The program will take place in Hefei, China, from December 19, 2026, to January 1, 2027. It combines academic lectures delivered by specialists, visits to national laboratories, daily Chinese language classes, and cultural visits, giving participants the opportunity to explore China’s research environment and experience the local culture.
The university also offers outstanding students the possibility of receiving a USTC Fellowship, which may fully or partially cover certain participation, travel, and living expenses, depending on the university’s decision.

Eligibility criteria
Applicants must:
Be non-Chinese citizens holding a valid foreign passport.
Be in good physical and mental health.
Have a good command of English.
Be currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program.
Alternatively:
Have completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree and be interested in continuing their studies at USTC.
