Winter Photo Contest offered by Photocrowd With Prizes Worth of £200 and Publication of Winning Photos

Photocrowd is launching a photo contest, in association with N-Photo, on the theme of "Winter", as each and everyone interested in creative photography is invited to take part in this contest.

In this Nikon-only contest – brought to you by N-Photo magazine – we're asking for your best winter images. So, whether it’s a snow-covered landscape, a festive portrait or a frosty still life, we’d like to see your best winter photographs.

• Both the expert's first choice and winner of the crowd vote will each win a £100 voucher from photo lab WhiteWall.
• The judges' top 10 images will be printed in an upcoming issue of N-Photo, the UK's most popular photography magazine for Nikon users.

DO:

1. Ensure your photo was taken on a Nikon camera
2. Have EXIF data in your photo (in the info section)
3. Provide a title for your photo
4. Write a description of the photo you're entering of at least 50 words to give us the background of what the image is of and how the it was taken. A little context can go a long way!
5. Check your photo has a resolution of at least 3000 pixels on the longest edge of the photo as we will be printing our top 10 images in N-Photo magazine.

DO NOT:

1. Have a watermark on your photograph
2. Any photo not following the above rules will be disqualified from the competition.

How it works:

Every photo submitted will be available for the crowd to rate once the submissions period has ended. You can see all the images uploaded to a contest, but will need to rate them to see how they’re ranked once the rating period begins.

Some contests on Photocrowd also have a judge. After the submission period closes the judge chooses their favourite images and writes some image reviews. The crowd and judge results will be announced on the same day.
