Fondation Pierre Elliott Trudeau

The Pierre Elliott Trudeau Foundation is an independent, non-partisan Canadian charitable organization established in 2001 in honour of former Canadian Prime Minister Pierre Elliott Trudeau. The Foundation focuses on supporting advanced research in the humanities and social sciences and on connecting academic research with issues and challenges affecting Canadian society and the wider world. The Foundation supports doctoral students, researchers, academics, and community leaders through scholarship, fellowship, and mentorship programs. It works to build a community of Scholars, Fellows, and Mentors who exchange knowledge and develop practical responses to contemporary challenges. Its network currently includes nearly 600 researchers, scholarship recipients, Fellows, and Mentors.
