300 Seconds Short Film Festival invites filmmakers worldwide to submit their short films to the 5th edition of the festival that will be held in Toronto, Canada. The 300 Seconds Short Film Festival aims to celebrate micro-short films. All entries have a maximum run time of 300 seconds (5 minutes). Categories include Canadian Shorts, International Shorts, and the 15-Second Story.

All official winners will receive laurels, ready-to-print certificates, and FREE FilmFreeway extended deadline entry for one film to the 2021 festival.

Eligibility criteria
- Minimum length: 60 seconds (1 minute), Maximum length: 300 seconds (5 minutes)
- All films must be in English or have English subtitles.
- The festival will accept any genre of film, music video, web series, documentary, etc as long as the maximum length (including credits) is 300 seconds.
- No limit on submissions or production date.
- All films must have a FilmFreeway or Vimeo screener. NO DVDs or other media need to be physically mailed to the festival. ONLINE SUBMISSIONS ONLY!!!
- The festival does not pay screening fees.
- Filmmakers retain the rights to their films.
- Filmmakers are responsible for acquiring copyrights, licenses, and releases for media used in their films.
- Filmmakers agree that the festival can show their film at the live screening upon selection to the 300 Seconds Short Film Festival.
