The IEEE Symposium on Foundations of Computer Science (FOCS 2026) has opened applications for Travel Awards for Students and Postdoctoral Fellows, which are travel grants designed to support students and postdoctoral researchers who need financial assistance to attend the conference in New York City, United States, from November 8 to 11, 2026.
FOCS is one of the leading international events and conferences in theoretical computer science, focusing on topics such as algorithms and data structures, artificial intelligence and machine learning from a theoretical perspective, cryptography, quantum computing, computational complexity, optimization, graph theory, and distributed and parallel algorithms.

- Postdoctoral researchers who are authors of accepted papers and do not have other financial support.
- First-time applicants.
- Students who have not recently received travel support to attend FOCS or STOC.
