Opportunity description

The International Vaccine Institute (IVI) invites photographers from around the world to participate in the 4th IVI International Photo Contest 2026, an international photography competition that aims to highlight stories of vaccines and immunization and their role in building a healthier world.

The competition focuses on photographs that show the impact of vaccines on communities, scientific innovation, and the efforts of healthcare workers, especially in low- and middle-income countries.

Benefits

  • The Gold Prize winner will receive USD 1,000.
  • Two Silver Prize winners will receive USD 500 each.
  • Six Bronze Prize winners will receive USD 200 each.
  • Honorable mention entries will be selected.
  • Entries may be featured in IVI publications, on its website, or on its social media platforms.
  • The photographer’s name will be credited when the photo is used, whenever possible.
  • Application is completely free, and there are no participation fees.
  • An opportunity for photographers to showcase their work in an international competition connected to global health and vaccines.

Eligibility criteria

  • The competition is open to individuals from all countries around the world.
  • Applicants must be 18 years old or older.
  • IVI employees are not eligible to participate in the competition.
  • The photographs must be original and created by the applicant.
  • Each participant may submit up to 5 photographs.
  • Each photograph must be submitted as a separate application.
  • Photographs must have been taken on or after January 1, 2022.
  • Photographs must be related to the competition theme or one of the specified categories.

Photo Requirements

  • Accepted formats: JPG, JPEG, PNG, TIF, or TIFF.
  • Minimum image size: 4000 × 3000 pixels.
  • Selected participants may be asked to provide the original image files.
  • All submissions must comply with the official terms of use of the competition.
