The ARES Foundation announces partially funded scholarships for Bachelor's, Master's, and Continuing Education programs in Belgium. These scholarships are suitable for you if you have a higher education degree or have professional experience and wish to deepen your skills in a topic related to development. ARES scholarships will give you the opportunity to pursue your one-year bachelor's or master's program or continue a continuing education program for 2 to 6 months within a Wallonia-Brussels Confederation higher education institution in Belgium.

- Each year, The ARES awards an average of 130 scholarships for Master’s and Bachelor’s scholarships and 70 Continuing education scholarships to nationals of its partner countries.
- The winners of Bachelor's and master's scholarships will receive the following:
- International travel costs.
- Living allowance.
- Indirect mission costs.
- Registration fees.
- Insurance costs.

Eligibility criteria
You must have:
- Be national, reside and work in Morocco, Tunisia.
- A diploma comparable to a graduate level degree (300 credits ECTS) from Belgian university studies for advanced masters and continuing education courses (equivalent to Bac+5); Hold a diploma comparable to an undergraduate level degree (180 credits ECTS) for advanced bachelors (equivalent to Bac+3). You must have held the relevant academic degree for a maximum of 20 years at the time of the start of the course.
- Relevant professional experience in an ARES partner country of at least two years.
- Complete the application in the language in which the training is given and can attest a good written and spoken knowledge of it.
- Knowing a minimum of French allows for good integration into daily life in Belgium.
- There are three types of training are offered through international training scholarships:
- Advanced bachelor's and master's degrees are inter-institutional training programs organized in one academic year and at the end of which an academic degree is awarded.
- Continuing education programs are more practical and of shorter duration (2 to 6 months). They deliver a certificate.

The Academy of Research and Higher Education (ARES) is the federation of higher education establishments of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation. A public interest organization, it is responsible for supporting these establishments in their missions of teaching, research, and service to the community. It federates 6 universities, 20 colleges of higher education, 16 colleges of arts, and 86 higher education establishments for social advancement for which it organizes consultation and for which it promotes collaborations on a national and international scale.
