Short Films Competition at the Events of the Experiment 120 Film Festival in France

Film Freeway invites everyone to the events Film Festival in its first edition entitled; Experiment 120– Experimental films programs for kids. EXPERIMENT 120 is a curated program of experimental films for kids 7+, which includes as well animations, video art, documentation on artworks, music videos, and films made by children. There is a strong belief in how experimental films can shape new visions, and participate in the emancipation of their makers and their viewers.

If your film has been selected, you will get:

• a screening fee which will be paid at each screening to the filmmaker or its representative.
•  promoting and supporting the films selected as part of various programs. 

To be eligible, you should:  

1. submit Short and very short films under 12 minutes length, ideally under 4 minutes, suitable for children 7+ and without any dialogues.
2. guarantee that the information provided on the submission form is accurate.
3. declare that you hold all the rights of reproduction, exhibition and distribution of your film.
4. guarantee having secured all the authorizations pertaining to the material being submitted, and leases the exploitation rights of your film to Experiment 120 in case of selection, against a screening fee.
5. permit to use at no cost a still image of the film for promotional purposes within the Experiment 120 programme.
6. agree, in case of incapacity for the physical screening to happen because of Lockdown or any restriction due to the pandemic, to have the film shown online as a live-streaming presentation or equivalent.
7. The rights holders agree in principle to give permission to Experiment 120 to organize different editions of the programme, versus a screening fee to be paid at each screening to the filmmaker or its representative.
8. Submitting films to the programme involves your acceptance of and full compliance with the rules.
