Opportunity description

Boise State University offers a number of automatic scholarships which are renewable for up to two years (4 semesters). These scholarships are available for transfer applicants to Boise State, those who earned 14 or more semester credits post-high school.

Eligibility criteria

You should follow the following criteria:

  • A transfer student is defined as an individual who has earned 14 or more semester credits post-high school by the scholarship deadline.
  • Cumulative unweighted GPA required: 3.40 - 4.00.
  • Some programs at Boise State are ineligible for these scholarships, include Nursing, Pre-Nursing, Radiological Science, Pre-Radiological Science, and self-supported and fully online programs.
  • Scholarship recipients are required to enroll full-time (12 credits) each semester of the award (fall & spring terms).
  • Renewal Cumulative GPA: 3.0.
  • In order to qualify for Transfer Treasure Scholarship consideration, all application materials must be received by Boise State’s International Admissions Office by the posted deadline.

Please note:

  • Scholarship recipients will receive an email notifying them of their award, which will then be posted to their myBoiseState account.
  • All awards are made by May 1.
