The Marine Conservation Research Assistant programme in Raja Ampat offers an exceptional volunteering experience for individuals passionate about marine life and environmental conservation. Duties & responsibilities
- Collect data related to coral reefs and marine ecosystems.
- Participate in monitoring and studying manta rays and other marine species.

- Participate in marine conservation initiatives and waste management activities.
- Support environmental education and awareness programmes for local communities.

Eligibility criteria
- Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
- Strong interest in marine life, environmental conservation, and sustainability.
- Ability to work effectively within an international and multicultural team.
- Good physical fitness for fieldwork and outdoor activities.
- Diving experience or a diving certification is preferred, but it is not always required for all participants.
- Good command of the English language.
- Commitment to following safety procedures and environmental protection guidelines throughout the programme.
