Giosef Italy – Giovani Senza Frontiere APS is one of the leading youth organizations in Italy. It works to empower young people and promote democratic participation and social inclusion. Through its projects, the organization supports marginalized groups, fosters intercultural dialogue, and develops active citizenship among youth through diverse educational and volunteering programs.

The project “Il Paguro Youth Center: A Home Beyond Borders” offers young volunteers a unique experience to work with youth from diverse and challenging backgrounds, particularly those at risk of social marginalization. Volunteers will take part in organizing daily activities and youth events, supporting programs in communication, education, and intercultural interaction, while also collaborating with local organizations to create safe spaces for growth and shared learning.

Duties & responsibilities

  • Organize daily activities for young people to enhance communication and interaction.

  • Collaborate with local partners to develop youth projects.

Eligibility criteria

  • Aged 18–30 years old.
  • Interest in working with young people from disadvantaged social and economic backgrounds.
  • Willingness to understand social challenges in Southern Italy beyond stereotypes.
  • Additional desirable (not mandatory) skills: knowledge of Italian, experience in non-formal education, experience working with minors, event planning skills.
