The École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) is a leading public research and technology university located in Lausanne, Switzerland. This program is a short-term summer research fellowship designed for bachelor’s students (second year and above) and master’s students in specific engineering fields. Participants work within a research unit at EPFL for a period of two to three months. The fellowship provides a monthly living allowance of CHF 1,800 along with reimbursement for travel costs (second-class train tickets or economy flights).

Eligibility criteria
- Must be enrolled in a bachelor’s program (BSc or BTech) in the second year or higher, or a master’s program (MSc or MTech)
- Must be studying in one of the following fields: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or Electrical Engineering
- PhD students are not eligible
- Excellent academic performance (highly competitive selection)
