Hassib Sabbagh &amp; Said Khoury Award invites Palestinian engineers to participate in the 2019 Hassib Sabbagh &amp; Said Khoury Engineering Award.<h3>About the Award:</h3>The approach of the award is to look for models of architectural excellence that take into account various aspects such as design, improvement, community development, restoration, reuse, preservation of the environment, landscaping, open spaces and preservation of important sites in Palestine through the use of local resources and appropriate technology in a creative manner. &nbsp;Through its activities, the Award seeks to encourage, appreciate and develop innovative concepts in the field of construction and engineering that meet the needs of the Palestinian society and its physical, social or cultural aspirations, support its presence in its territory and take into account its social and political characteristics.The award aims at encouraging engineering creativity, engineering companies and individual engineers to compete for the development of their works and designs for the benefit of construction and architecture in Palestine.&nbsp;<h3>Award Fields:</h3><ul><li>Corporate Excellence Projects:</li><li>Completed and under-utilized projects for at least two full years to ensure the quality of construction and implementation.</li><li>All kinds of construction projects that affect the Palestinian environment, ranging from modest or small-scale interventions to large complexes and urban designs.</li><li>Projects dealing with infrastructure, like transportation, industry, offices, commercial facilities, and educational and health facilities.</li><li>Individuals:</li></ul>The individual/ professor/ engineer has made great achievements in the field of engineering in Palestine in terms of creativity, innovation, use of different skills and technology, and addition to the global knowledge of conducting applied research and disseminating globally.
