Filmmaking Competition Within the "Middle East Now" Festival and the Opportunity to Travel to Florence 2020

The Middle East Now announces its 11th edition of the 2020 competition for artists and filmmakers from all around the world, which will be held in Florence from 31 March to 5 April 2020. 

Eligibility criteria:

1. Feature films, documentaries, shorts and animation films produced in 2018-2019-2020 and coming from Afghanistan, Algeria, Bahrain, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Morocco, Palestine, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Sudan, Libya, Tunisia, Turkey, UAE, and Yemen.
2. If you want to participate with a feature film, a documentary, a short film or an animation film – to compete for the “Middle East Now Jury Award”, the “Middle East Now Audience Award”, the “Middle East Now Staff Award” and the “Best OFF Award”– please fill in the entry form in all its parts and send a copy of the film by post or a web link by email.

About Middle East Now:

Middle East Now festival is organized by MAP OF CREATION, a non-profit cultural association based in Florence which is active in producing documentary films and hosting cultural events. We work on documentaries and cinema that focuses on the key themes of the contemporary world, as a powerful instrument to approach reality and cultural integration. Our research is currently concentrated on cultural, social and political themes in the Middle East.
