<p>Rotary <a href="https://www.for9a.com/en/opportunity/category/Scholarships" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Scholarships</a> for Water and Sanitation Professionals are now available and aim to promote long-term productive relationships between Rotarians and highly skilled water and sanitation professionals in their communities. These scholarships are dedicated to local candidates who have already been admitted to one of IHE Delft Institute for Water Education’s eligible 18-month <a href="https://www.for9a.com/en/opportunity/category/Scholarships/Master" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Master</a> of Science degree programs.</p><h3>The Program specializations:-</h3><ul><li>The following specializations of the IHE Delft MSc programs are eligible for a 2020-2022 Rotary Scholarship:</li><li class="ql-indent-1">Water Management and Governance. <ul><li>The local Rotary Club and the scholar are anticipated to financially contribute to the Global Grant together at least $3,000 and to secure DDF-funds in their district of at least $5,000.&nbsp;</li><li>The total cost of each scholarship is $60,000.&nbsp;</li><li>The Dutch Government funds $10,000, this leaves $ 50,000 to be funded via this Global Grant application.</li><li>Recipients of this scholarship will benefit from the support they receive through regular contact with sponsor Rotarians from their home country and the opportunity to interact with Rotarians in the Netherlands.&nbsp;</li><li>Becoming involved with a local Rotary club and the alumni association allows scholars to stay connected to Rotary’s global community and resources.</li></ul><p><br></p>

<ul><li>Rotary seeks scholars who wish to use their expertise to improve the lives of others in their own communities and around the world.&nbsp;</li><li>Scholars will be expected to maintain good academic performance and participate in the following activities:&nbsp;</li><li><br></li><li class="ql-indent-1">Provide a monthly update on the educational program and their cultural experiences to Rotarian sponsors in their home country.</li><li class="ql-indent-1">Give at least one presentation at a Rotary club or district event in the Netherlands.</li><li class="ql-indent-1">Give at least one presentation at a Rotary district conference in their home country.</li><li class="ql-indent-1">After returning to their home country, work with Rotarian sponsors on an activity to make a positive impact on water and sanitation in their home community.</li><li>Rotarians, spouses or lineal descendants of Rotarians, or employees of a club, district, or other Rotary entity are not eligible to apply</li></ul><p><br></p><h3>About Rotary:-</h3><p>Rotary is an international organization of business, professional, and community leaders who provide humanitarian service and help to build goodwill and peace in the world.
