The School of Civil Engineering and Built Environment (CEBE) in the Science and Engineering Faculty is offering a Ph.D. scholarship to conduct innovative research to improve mental health and safety in the construction industry.<h3>Funding:</h3><ul><li>The value of this scholarship is $27,596 per annul, (tax-exempt).</li><li>This award is to be used to support research and living expenses.</li><li>This scholarship is paid fortnightly for the period of 3 years and tuition fee waivers are available for international applicants.</li></ul><h3>Eligibility Criteria:</h3>You must have one of the following:<ul><li>completed a high-quality honors degree in:<ol><li>Construction management.</li><li>Quantity surveying.</li><li>Civil engineering.</li><li>Psychology.</li><li>Statistics.</li><li>Other relevant disciplines.</li></ol></li><li>A coursework masters degree with at least 25% research.</li><li>A research master degree from a recognized institution or equivalent overseas qualifications.</li></ul>You must have a background in one of:<ul><li>Construction.</li><li>Built environment.</li><li>Civil engineering.</li><li>Psychology.</li><li>Mathematics and statistics.</li></ul>You should show strong qualitative and quantitative research skills with interests in:<ul><li>Mental health issues.</li><li>Previous experience in journal or conference publications will be preferred.</li></ul><h3>About:</h3>Queensland University of Technology (QUT) is a major Australian university with a global outlook and a real-world focus.
