<p>The Jordanian Hashemite Fund for Human Development (JOHUD) has launched &nbsp;the Princess Basma <a href="https://www.for9a.com/en/opportunity/category/Competitions-and-Awards" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"><strong>Award</strong></a> for Development and Community Service 2019 in its eighth edition.</p><h3><strong>Award Goal and Theme:</strong></h3><p>The award aims at honoring development efforts and encouraging creativity and excellence in the field of development work. The committee has chosen this year<strong>&nbsp;&quot;Entrepreneurship&quot;</strong>&nbsp; as the main theme of the award, because of its importance in creating positive change in the community and it&#39;s great role in affecting the youth.</p><h3><strong>Conditions:</strong></h3><ul><li>Applications for candidacy are accepted by an individual, group of individuals or companies of all ages.</li><li>Candidates must have the desire to introduce social entrepreneurship to their existing business or to the prototype of their entrepreneurial work.</li><li>The pilot work should be established and functioning, and its concept and initial model should be complete provided that it is demonstrated through a plan of action.</li><li>Team members must be fully committed to participate in the Innovation Forum during the period from 24 to 26 August 2019.</li><li>If there are participants under the age of 18 years, they should bring the consent of the guardian .</li><li>The Committee shall be entitled to use any special images or recordings taken during the Innovation Forum.</li></ul><h3><strong>General Criteria:</strong></h3><ul><li>The pioneering work should include a clear social message that contributes to the adoption of a social cause.</li><li>The majority of the profits of the leading financial business must be obtained through business, not through grants or financiers.</li><li>&nbsp;20-40% of the profits of the entrepreneurial work must be reinvested in order to benefit the social cause adopted by the employer.</li><li>Leading work should be accountable and transparent.</li></ul><h3><strong>Prize Value:</strong></h3><p>The winning projects will be awarded with the following:</p><ul><li>First prize: JOD 10000.</li><li>Second Prize: JOD 7000.</li><li>Third Prize: JOD 5000.</li></ul><p dir="ltr"><strong>See more available <a href="https://www.for9a.com/en/country/Jordan">job opportunities in Jordan</a> on For9a</strong></p><p dir="ltr"><strong>See more available <a href="https://www.for9a.com/en/opportunity/category/Grants">grants</a> on For9a</strong></p><p dir="ltr"><strong>See more available <a href="https://www.for9a.com/en/opportunity/category/Events-Festivals-and-Conferences">events and conferences</a> on For9a</strong></p>
