Kent State University offers Undergraduate Merit-based Scholarship to academically talented students that don’t have the opportunity to take standardized U.S tests such as the SAT and ACT.
Requirements
Admission requirements for the scholarship:
- International new freshman with a minimum GPA of 3.0 on US 4.0 scale
- Unconditional Admission to Kent State University as a freshman
Admission requirements for an undergraduate degree:
- New freshmen applicants must finish secondary school in their home country by the time of enrollment to be eligible for university (comparable to the completion of senior high school in the U.S.).
- All undergraduate applicants must obtain TOEFL score of 71 iBT, 525 pBT (discontinued as of July 2017), 18 average of Revise PBT, or 6.0 IELTS.
Amount
One-time award ranges from $2,000-$15,000 will be distributed to awardee who have been selected for this merit-based scholarship
Note: Students will be automatically considered for the scholarship if they apply by October 1st, 2019.
