Opportunity description
This program offers Jordanian professors and researchers the opportunity to conduct research and teach at U.S. universities for 3–9 months, with full funding that includes a salary, health coverage, and travel allowance. Applicants must hold a PhD, have academic experience, and demonstrate proficiency in English. The program enables participants to build an international academic network and promote cultural exchange.
Benefits
- Hold a PhD or equivalent and be engaged in full-time teaching or research.
- Have a minimum of five post-PhD scholarly publications.
- Demonstrate English proficiency appropriate for the proposed project.
- Ability to represent Jordanian culture and contribute to mutual understanding between the peoples.
- Must not have been in the United States on a J‑1 exchange visa for more than six months in the previous 12 months.
- Ineligible: U.S. citizens/green card holders, or employees/relatives of Fulbright or U.S. Embassy staff.
