Partially Funded Bachelor’s Scholarship at Korea University for International Students

Korea University offers the Global Leader Scholarship B to international students applying for undergraduate programs. This opportunity is considered one of the partially funded bachelor’s scholarships in South Korea, as it covers 50% of tuition fees for the first four semesters of study for newly admitted students.

Students do not need to submit a separate scholarship application. All international undergraduate applicants are automatically considered for the award as part of the admission review process. Recipients are selected through a comprehensive evaluation of their academic record, language qualifications, submitted documents, and achievements.

The scholarship is open to students of all nationalities, including applicants from Arab countries, provided they meet Korea University’s international admission requirements. It covers half of the tuition fees only and does not include accommodation, airfare, meals, or personal expenses.

Applicants must:

• Apply to one of Korea University’s international undergraduate programs.
• Be a non-Korean citizen whose parents also do not hold Korean citizenship, in accordance with the international admission requirements.
• Have completed high school or expect to complete it before the program begins.
• Submit all required certificates, academic transcripts, and supporting documents.
• Meet the Korean or English language proficiency requirements for the selected program.
• Present a strong academic profile demonstrating readiness for undergraduate study.
• Meet the specific admission requirements of the selected college or major.
