International Cartoon Competition in Poland and a Chance to Win Cash Prizes

Raed Cartoon invites professional and amateur cartoonists from all over the world to participate in a competition; The 24th International Open Cartoon Contest / - Zielona Góra -Poland 2022. This year's edition aims to select the best entries of satirical drawings, referring to the theme of "Home office". This is your chance to appear your innovation and you will have the opportunity to win a lot of amazing prizes.

If you are among the winners, you will have one of the following prizes:

• Grand Prix: 5000 PLN (1160 $)+ Statuette
• 1st Prize: 4000 PLN (928 $)
• 2nd Prize: 3000 PLN (696 $)
• 3rd Prize: 2000 PLN (464 $)
• Additionally, the Organizer will provide awards and special distinctions.

You should follow the following rules:

• All competition participants must be adults with full legal capacity. 
• You can participate on a professional or an amateur basis.
• You can submit any number of original drawings with a minimum A5 and maximum A3 format and made them using any techniques.
• Participation in this Competition is voluntary and free of charge.
• Participants of the Competition cannot include employees of the Organizer or Co-organizer, as well as persons who directly participate in the preparation or implementation of the Competition. 
• Only works that have not been awarded before may take part in the competition.
• Each work should be signed by the author.
• The participants agree to have their works published free of charge by the Organizer and Co-organizer.
• By your personal participation in the closing ceremony of the post-competition exhibition, you agree to the processing of your image through photographs, and to your availability to promote cultural events by the Organizer.
• The condition for paying the cash prizes to the winners is their personal participation in the closing ceremony of the post-competition exhibition or indication of the bank and account number to which the award amount is to be transferred.
• The cost of sending the work is borne by you.
• Works will not be admitted to the competition that calls for racial, ethnic, or religious hatred, material presenting a commercial offer, or an advertisement for an institution/company.

Competition Schedule:

• Announcement and publication of the competition: March 2022.
• The deadline for submitting works: 31st May 2022.
• Proceedings of the Jury and announcement of the results of the Competition: by 30th June 2022.
• Opening of the post-competition exhibition: September 2022.

Evaluation Criteria:

• The artistic value of the drawing.
• Its accuracy in interpreting the subject.
• The humorous aspect.

About Raed Cartoon:

Raed Cartoon is a website interested in the field of cartooning in addition to the artist's news and festivals all over the world, founded by the Syrian artist Raed Khalil. Raed Khalil is a Syrian cartoonist born in Syria on March 1, 1973 who started working in publications in 1988. As well, founded the website “Syria Cartoon” and founded the International Cartoon Competition in Syria in 2005.
