Opportunity description

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is seeking 1 Online Volunteer to support in translating documents related to training on development solutions from English to Spanish. This project aims to promote sustainable solutions to challenges related to internal displacement, which go beyond humanitarian response.

  • The volunteer is expected to translate the following documents, which approximately total 25,315 words, into Spanish:
  • Introduction to the Development Solutions Training Package: 2,611 words (Word)
  • Introduction sessions
  • Introduction to the training workshop: 338 words (Word)
  • Introduction to the workshop: 868 words (PPT)
  • Module 1
  • M1.S.1 facilitators notes: 772 words (Word)
  • Activity from GP to SGAA: 44 words (Word)
  • M1.S.2 facilitators notes: 723 words (Word)

Duties & responsibilities

  • Gain experience in translation and engage with the Governance Team at UNDP
  • Receive a certificate of appreciation from the United Nations

Eligibility criteria

  • Fluency in English and Spanish
  • Previous translation experience is preferred
