Volunteer Opportunity at Dubai Festival for Youth Theater from the Community Development Authority

Nabd Al Emarat Volunteer Team, in cooperation with Dubai Culture, is pleased to offer volunteer opportunities to participate in the field initiative Dubai Festival for Youth Theater 2021 with the main duties organization and supervision.

About the festival:-

• The Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, "Dubai Culture", intends to launch an exceptional version this year of the "Dubai Festival for Youth Theater" during the period from 19 to 25 November, with the participation of all private theater groups across the country.
• Dubai Culture has formed a committee to watch the performances presented by theatrical groups participating in the current year’s session to evaluate the participating works and direct the teams to ensure the appropriateness of the content in terms of theatrical performance elements and the conformity of the performances with a set of criteria that aims to provide the festival, which deals with the youth category, a transparent environment that raises the quality Performance and level of competition between the participating teams.
• The festival’s organizing committee sets 15 criteria for selecting the participating performances, including that the general form of the theatrical text is homogeneous and coherent, that the idea of ​​the show is clear and understandable, embodies the basic youth issue, and is characterized by originality and creativity in terms of content, directing, costumes, decoration, music and all other elements of theatrical work, and in line with the customs and traditions of the United Arab Emirates.

• The formal dress for men at the festival is the white kandora, ghutra, and Iqal and black Abaya for women.
• The festival has a total of 32 volunteering hours.
• Only 30 volunteers will be accepted.
