Opportunity description
Inkshares is offering all-genre contest for writers. The purpose of the contest is to discover debut storytellers with incredible stories.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Any writer with a manuscript (partial or finished) can enter the contest
- You can enter the contest by first creating a draft project on Inkshares
- Which includes your pitch, logline, working title, genre, fiction or non-fiction and short story or novel designation.
- You should be able to convey your story’s dramatic narrative in a single sentence is imperative in 240 characters or less.

Book publishing deals
Evaluation Process:
- Inkshares will select at least three authors to grant publishing deals.
- Books are selected for publication on Inkshares in three different ways:
- Most commonly, books that sell a certain number of pre-orders are greenlit for publication.
- Second, we periodically run contests, and a book may be selected as part of a contest.
- Third, we track organic indicators of reader interest like numbers of reads and select titles for publishing on the basis of those indicators.
