Opportunity description

The Revere International Student Film Festival (TRIFF) is offering a competition in Film Making. Every semester there will have all new screenings of content from undergraduate student filmmakers at multiple university venues across the world during the fall and spring semesters. 

Awards:

  1. Each semester’s festival will award cash grants at each university screening for the “Audience Choice” for best film.
  2. Additionally, we will award thousands of dollars in filmmaking software, camera stabilization equipment, industry magazine subscriptions, the esteemed “Revere Award,” and much more!

Eligibility Criteria:

  1. The festival is open to any undergraduate student who is currently enrolled at any accredited college or university in the world, or who was enrolled during the 2019 academic year.
  2. Films must have been produced during your semesters before graduation in 2019, and/or any time during the 2019/2020 academic semesters. 
  3. Films can be submitted via filmfreeway.com Any student requiring any other form of submission can contact us at RevereFest@gmail.com for instructions.
  4. Each filmmaker must fill out the “Submission Form”, on the TRIFF website.
  5. By submitting your film you grant The Revere International Film Festival the rights to use your film in screenings, promotions, streaming on the TRIFF website, and any streaming format associated with the festival.
  6. All work submitted must be the work of the submitting filmmaker, and that filmmaker must hold all copyrights to that work. 
  7. Copyrights include, but are not limited to, the work itself, and all content within the work, including persons, locations, and music.
  8. There is no minimum length. All films should be no longer than 15 minutes in length including titles and credits.
  9. There is a limit of two (2) films per student filmmaker, per semester, and a separate submission form must be sent for each entry.
  10. Admission to the festival is FREE for students. Seats will be reserved for student filmmakers, their crew, and their family and friends who RSVP through the “Contact” page on the TRIFF website.
  11. Student/public seating will be on a first come first served basis. If those who RSVP do not arrive 30 minutes prior to the beginning of the screening the seats will be opened up for student/public seating.
