AIESEC is looking for an English language teacher for undergraduate and postgraduate courses who is willing to volunteer and support SABER PRO programs and other academic, cultural and administrative activities in Columbia. The volunteer should have a background in Education and Languages, and working hours will be from 8am to 6pm. Earliest start date will be on February 4 and the latest end date will be on November 29, 2019.

Responsibilities: 

  1. Dictate English classes at assigned times
  2. Prepare classes of the program and subjects in the schedules provided for it
  3. Support the preparation and delivery of the classroom plan to students
  4. Attend meetings and trainings to which you are invited according to your profile
  5. Deliver timely partial and final grades duly totaled
  6. Support academic and cultural events related to language teaching
  7. Support academic, administrative and cultural activities assigned to them.
  8. Support for SABER PRO activities related to English

Benefits:

There will be a salary of 1562484 COP per month which is equivalent to around $472. There will also be a computer, accommodation both provided and covered, and food provided but not covered. According to Colombian law, you must be registered under local health services. AIESEC has a national agreement with two insurance companies: EPS Sanitas + ARL Sura. The cost is a monthly payment of $100.000 COP and it will be discounted from the monthly subsidy.
