Opportunity description

Film Free Way invites artists to participate in the fifth edition of the Moving-Image-Arts Festival, which was created by artists/curators Gerda Cammaer, Pierre Tremblay and Devin Shears.

The festival focuses on short experimental videos that explore the classic genre of portraiture in new ways. This one-hour film festival is a juried showcase of short films and videos from around the world.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Short films of any genre are accepted but preference is given to experimental films and art videos.
  • Work produced for a commercial purpose or within a commercial context is not eligible.
  • Films and videos need to be 10 minutes maximum, preferably shorter.
  • Films and videos have to be produced after January 1, 2018.
  • Student films are welcome.

Festival Timing:

The festival will take place on March 5th, 2020 at the School of Image Arts, Ryerson University in Toronto, Canada.
