Eligibility criteria
Applicants must:
- Hold a PhD degree.
- For the 2027 cycle, the PhD must have been awarded in January 2023 or later.
- Applicants whose PhD certificate has not yet been formally issued may still apply, provided that they complete all PhD requirements before the fellowship begins.
- Be able to relocate to KAUST in Saudi Arabia and work full-time throughout the fellowship period.
- Submit an original and independent research project aligned with the university’s priority research areas.
- Have a strong academic and research record.
- Identify potential KAUST faculty members whose research interests align with the proposed project.
- Complete the application in English.
