John Carroll University is offering Merit Scholarships for new International Students. When you submit your application for admission, you’ll automatically be considered for merit scholarships.

Merit scholarships is up to $27,000, which are awarded based on your classroom performance, standardized test scores, and extracurricular involvement.

• Listed scholarship values are annual amounts that automatically renew for a total of four years, as long as academic and conduct standards are maintained. Students are notified of their scholarship at the time of admission.
• Please note: The GPA and test scores listed for each scholarship below represent the average credentials of students offered admission for fall 2019.

1. Magis Scholarship Up to $27,000. GPA: A- ACT: 30 SAT: 1340 
2. Presidential Scholarship Up to $24,000. GPA: B+ ACT: 25 SAT: 1150
3. University Scholarship Up to $20,000. GPA: B ACT: 21 SAT: 1000
4. Ignatian Award Up to $12,000

• Students not eligible for the above scholarships will be considered for this award which emphasizes strong work ethic, leadership, and commitment to service.
