Chance to win $15,000 at the University Startup World Cup 2021

Venture Cup Denmark is hosting the 2021 University Startup World Cup in China and invites startups from all around the world to be part of this international award.

Venture Cup Denmark hosted the first University Startup World Cup back in 2015 with startups from all around the world. The startups reached millions of readers worldwide, met some of the largest companies in Denmark, and won big cash prizes. 

But one of the most remarkable things about the World Cup is the international network that the participants achieve. The goal is to feature the best university startups worldwide, give them a network and help them grow.

Early Stage Startup:

• All 4 category winners will receive 1000 USD each
• The overall winner will receive 15,000 USD + 1,000 USD from winning the category.

Growth Stage Startup:

• All 4 category winners will receive 1000 USD each
• The overall winner will receive 15,000 USD + 1,000 USD from winning the category.

You can apply for the USWC if:

• You’re a part of a startup with two co-founders and at least one of them is affiliated to a University (or a recent graduate within 2 years). Your startup is either early-stage or growth stage.
• Your startup is working towards making an impact in the world. You feel like you have the potential to do great things and want a platform to help you reach your goals. You want to be part of a network of international student entrepreneurs. Finally, you see all of the possibilities of meeting with key players from the Chinese startup ecosystem and expanding your network.

About Venture Cup:

Venture Cup Denmark is an association of all the Danish universities (except RUC). Venture Cup work to promote and showcase entrepreneurship among university students and help eliminate the gap between the academic world and the business community.

A pioneer in the field, Venture Cup was founded in 2000 as one of the first entrepreneurial organizations in the country. Venture Cup aims at providing support to entrepreneurial students by offering mentoring, inspiration, and services.
