Opportunity description

The U.S. Embassy in Muscat is accepting applications from Omani professionals for the 2027–2028 Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Program.

The program is designed for mid-career professionals with demonstrated leadership experience who wish to strengthen their professional knowledge through non-degree academic study, practical training, and professional networking in the United States.

  4. Have substantial professional experience, typically at least five years after completing their undergraduate degree.
  5. Demonstrate leadership, managerial, or policymaking responsibilities.
  6. Have strong English-language proficiency.
  7. Show a clear commitment to public service and development in Oman.
  8. Be willing to return to Oman after completing the program.
  9. Not be U.S. citizens or permanent residents of the United States.
