Princeton University in the United States, through the Lewis Center for the Arts, has opened applications for the Princeton Arts Fellowship 2027–2029, one of the funded international arts fellowships designed for early-career artists who have demonstrated significant artistic achievement and exceptional potential in both artistic practice and teaching.
The fellowship lasts for two consecutive years at Princeton University and combines the development of the fellow’s own artistic work with active participation in the university’s academic and artistic community. Each fellow receives USD 93,000 per year, totaling USD 186,000 over the two-year fellowship, in addition to supplementary funding for research and teaching.

Eligibility criteria
The fellowship is intended for artists who:
- Are in the early stages of their professional careers.
- Have artistic achievements that demonstrate exceptional potential in both artistic practice and teaching.
- Work in one of the eligible artistic fields for the 2027–2029 cycle.
- Are willing to dedicate two years to developing their artistic work while participating in teaching and artistic activities at Princeton University.
