Competition for Innovators in the Field of Technology and the Chance to Win Valuable Prizes

Instructables invites innovators all over the world to participate in a competition; Retro Tech Challenge. You have the chance to submit a new Instructable that showcases a tech project that is retro in age or aesthetic. You can restore a piece of old tech, make new tech look retro with a custom 3D printed case, or create a DIY version of your favorite arcade machine from the 80s. Moreover, you will the chance to design a retro-tech project using Tinkercad and win a $200 Tinkercad Judges' Prize.

If you are among the winners, you will get one of the following:

• Grand Prize (1 winner): $250 Digital Gift Card.
• First Prize (3 winners): $150 Digital Gift Card.
• Tinkercad Judges' Prize (1 winner): $200 Digital Gift Card.
• Runner Up (10 winners): $50 Digital Gift Card.
• Second Prize (5 winners): $100 Digital Gift Card.

You must follow the following terms:

• Be age at least thirteen.
• Not residents of any county or region subject to a US trade embargo. 
•  If you are a minor you must obtain permission from your parent or legal guardian.
• Multiple entries are permitted, but only one entry per entrant can win a prize in the Contest.
• Each entry must be entirely the original work of the persons identified in the entry.
• If persons other than the entrant have contributed to an entry, the entrant must have the written permission from each contributor prior to submitting the entry.
• Entries must not contain anything that is or may be threatening, harassing,  indecent, or otherwise. 
• Entries must not contain any material that encourages conduct that constitutes a criminal offense or that violates any applicable statute, or regulation.
• You may not enter the same Instructables project in more than one Instructables contest.

Please note: 

1. There will be 20 total winners for the Contest. 
2. If the winner is a resident of any other eligible country then the winner will receive a Tango Card which will be converted from the estimated value for the applicable prize in USD into the local currency of the winner’s country of residence at the time of issuance.

You will be selected based on the following criteria:

1. Clarity.
2. Ingenuity.
3. Creativity.
4. Quality of Presentation.
5. Execution of the Instructable.
