The fellowship lasts for 10 months in the United States and includes non-degree academic study, leadership activities, professional networking, and practical training at a U.S. organization.

Eligibility criteria
Applicants must meet the following basic eligibility requirements:
- Be a citizen of one of the countries eligible for the program.
- Hold a bachelor’s degree or another recognized first university degree.
- Have at least five years of full-time professional experience.
- Demonstrate clear leadership qualities.
- Have a record of public service or community engagement.
- Possess a good command of the English language.
- Have limited or no extensive previous experience in the United States.
- Commit to returning to their home country after completing the program.
- Work in a professional field supported by the fellowship.
- Be able to benefit from an intensive academic and professional program conducted in English.
